Update: Is Geocentrism conquering old Heliocentrism in Science?

After weeding through a lot of really questionable websites and blogs, I found some considerably credible spokesmen who were, if not defending geocentrism itself, were highlighting the unreasoned and sometimes hyperventilating opposition to it expressed by "Scientists" and "Journalists" who just can't handle any questioning of heliocentrism.

Why not? Who is the close minded party here?
