If you want your nation to have great international authority, disperse national legal authority. America does that; Socialism centralizes all legal authority.

The American legal principle of subsidiarity says that all legal matters should be settled at the lowest jurisdiction possible, and that no higher legal authority should be exercised over any lower level that is capable of handling the matter. All such problems should be handled at the lowest level at which they can and should be handled.
