Catholicism today is loaded down with "experts" who can shoe-horn any "scientific" theory into compliance with Scripture or Revelation. The idea is to offer a blended story line that assuages the questioning mind and guides thinking into a new and peaceful vision of what is, or Truth. The problem with that is that Truth is Reality, which cannot be blended.
