The Link between Falsehood and Depravity, and the Depravity of the Lie

At the foundational level, Truth is the opposite of Depravity, for Truth is Good, all that is False is bad, and the more you lie the more depraved you become.

Liars move into depravity; depravity requires more lies to hide itself.

There is one evil character trait that most American politicians today, and most Catholic Bishops today, share in common with all old-time Communist Revolutionaries, Anarchists, Fascists, Nazis, Moslems and Criminal Sociopaths: They can look you right in the eye and lie, straight to your face, and smile while they are lying, and not feel even the slightest twinge of conscience about it. They have no conscience.
