Yesterday was the 14th Sunday after Pentecost in the Latin Rite calendar. The readings (Gal 5:16-24 and Matt 6:24-33) and the Homily referred to what Christians are to gather with, and separate from, highlighting the differences between good and evil, salvation and damnation.
