If it seems like the inmates re running the asylum, they are, but that ain't all they're running. Note that it was by the activism and through the agency of the Marxocrat Political Party that the asylums were opened up and nearly emptied in the first place, with most of the formerly confined turned loose on their own recognizance. It was deemed inappropriate for people with "mild" mental illnesses, or with mental illnesses deemed controllable by drugs to be committed to any mental institution without their own consent.
