When President Trump walked down to St. John's Church, and held up that Bible, the horrified reaction of the media was like he was holding up a Crucifix in front of vampires. They went ballistic. Why, it was a violation of Separation of Church and State, they shrieked in unison. It was another "dog whistle" to Bible-thumping gun-toting Right Wing White Supremacists, which is what they consider all white Christians to be.
