This is really about the almost universal criminal inclinations of the elite. The more elite they hold themselves to be, the more criminally inclined they are likely to be. And when the criminally inclined get away with one crime, they will do it again and commit other worse crimes. Among elitist criminals, that criminal progression will continue until the elitist considers himself to be impervious to any law, and thus, a god.
