It was not for nothing that the old Democrat Party formed the Confederate States of America to split off from the abolitionist United States of America and form their own country to keep their slaves enslaved and keep their slave market going. It was not for nothing that they fought the Civil War to secede from the union, and, once the war got started, to actually defeat the abolitionist North and take over and rule all of America.
