Asking the questions - is America already the New Sodom, and is there any way back to simple decency?

Avoiding cultural indecency almost cannot be done today. Not entirely. Not in America. If you restrict your TV viewing to religious programming, and maybe to Country and Western / Blue Grass music, you will come close. But any other entertainment, forget it. Even the news, and even commentary, includes topics delving into American or World cultural rot, from one viewpoint or another.

Even advertising is indecent. On TV, and even in your own email, you cannot permanently or completely insulate yourself from ads promoting Viagra or products like it. Or the side-affect warnings, like, "if you experience sudden permanent blindness or deafness, why, stop taking it, by all means, and seek medical attention." But the idiot character in the ad never wipes the stupid grin off his face.
