Today is Sexagesima Sunday. The Lesson is from 2 Cor 11:19-33 and 12:1-9. Paul suffered much as we suffer today, with a million things going wrong in a million ways, all seeming disconnected, but all converging to destroy good order. It seems to us that of all the horrors Paul experienced, the worst must have been from being "in perils from my own nation" and "in perils from my own brethren".
