The American Constitution was written for individuals and individuality; it enshrines individual citizen rights, and encourages individual thinking. The Communist Manifesto is diametrically opposed to individualism, and was written for the the creation of the commune, and it forcibly imposes communal thinking. This is the political war between the individual and the monolith.
