Nor is it possible to be a faithful believing Jew and at the same time be pro-LGBTQ Rights.
There is no such thing as a right to do what is wrong.
In her recent essay Epicurean Atomism, Linda Kimball quoted Calvin Coollige as follows:
As early as 1926, President Calvin Coolidge was aware of and deeply concerned by the insidious spread of so-called ‘scientific’ materialism in America. As he knew, Americans are free only because of the Christian foundation laid by the country’s founders.
In a speech he delivered in Philadelphia, July 5, 1926 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Coolidge tried to call American’s back to their Christian heritage. He told Americans that the Declaration’s principles of liberty arise from man’s God-given inalienable rights. And these are found, said Coolidge, “in the texts, the sermons, and the writings of the early colonial clergy…” The clergy preached equality “because they believed in the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.” Sanctity of life, the right to self-defense, and all the rest of our individual liberties were justified “by the text that we are all created in the divine image, all partakers of the divine spirit.” God’s children therefore, have no “superiors;” there are no modern-day “divine rights kings” who possess “any right to rule…over them.” Americans are free to choose their own leaders.
The Declaration, continued Coolidge, is “a great spiritual document.” Its principles are not material but spiritual. “Equality, liberty, popular sovereignty, the rights of man—these are not elements we can see and touch. They are ideals(whose) source and roots (are) in religious convictions. They belong to the unseen world.”
President Coolidge cautioned Americans that, “unless the faith of the Americans in these religious convictions is to endure, the principles of our Declaration will perish. We cannot continue to enjoy the result if we abandon the cause.”
Coolidge ended his speech with a stark warning, “We must not sink into a pagan materialism…” (Back Fired, William Federer, pp. 269-271)
It is this view that our nation's founding document, the Declaration of Independence, is "a great spiritual document" that makes the United States a Christian nation. Christian morality is the basis of US law. It is the cornerstone of the whole Constitutional Republic.
The unconstitutional court establishment of the bogus Separation of Church and State so-called "Constitutional Principle" began the official beginning of the secularization and near religious cleansing of the American government.
President Trump gets so much right, on the economy, border security, national security, foreign relations, second amendment, and everything else, with this one single exception: he fails to see Hedonism as a mortal enemy of Constitutional America, and of civilization itself.
Is it the least of the Islamo-Commie-Homo political menace, or is it the worst, and the most deadly to peace, and even to humanity, after all?
Where are the American legal protections for true to the faith Christians who shun, anathematize and keep apart from the LGBTQ "community"? Why does the government force all of the citizenry into the close company of obstinate unrepentant sinners and feigned approval of sin against their will?
Why must we be forced to live with them, work with them, work for them, employ them, house them, do business with them, allow them to be around our children, as if they were decent and moral?
Where are all the anti-discrimination laws protecting Christians? Where are the hate speech laws and hate crime laws against all the hatred expressed towards us? Where are the "safe spaces" for devout believers in God?
Why are we called haters, and those who persecute us are not?
Why are they called uniters, and why are we called dividers?
Is it not we, the believing Christians, being driven underground?
Why is quoting Scripture now "hate speech" in the USA, but quoting Satan, or Hugh Hefner, Madelyn Murry O'hara, or Richard Dawkins is not?
Why do American courts tear down monuments to the Ten Commandments and defend monuments to Satan?
How far are we from becoming the new Sodom and Gomorrah?
Is that the real political goal of our unconstitutional political parties?
Read the Bible.
