The Bourgeoisie emerged in the late middle-ages as a class of increasingly wealthy merchants and business owners as a "middle class" between the peasantry and the nobility and aristocracy. They were almost an insult to their betters because they began to compete with them for wealth, status and cultural standing, and they were envied by the poor for their success. In the USA, where they were free to operate at the most liberty, even their employees became "middle class" and many of them became wealthy even without starting a business, because, in Bourgeois-dominant culture, money flows downhill, sideways and even upward.

The "new" bourgeois, as I see it, as an American, includes the vast majority of Americans. The "Noble Class" here is comprised of the puffed-up political class comprised of office holders, ambassadors and ranking bureaucrats, Hollywood nobility and red-carpet celebrity. The "Aristocracy" is comprised of the professionals and the Darwinist, Freudian, Marxist, Islamist, Antisemitic and the most Hedonistic ranking academics. 

Like the nobles and aristocrats of old, they look with disdain upon the new bourgeoisie for the same reasons: the bourgeoisie look like them, dress like them, act like them, drive expensive cars like them, and, worst of all, they do not defer them too or bow and scrape to them.

"Harumph!", they say; "it's as though they were the same as us!". 

The American bourgeoisie don't necessarily live in mansions or vast estates, although a lot of farms and ranches may qualify as vast estates. Most of us live in row houses, some modest, some fancy, some in gated communities, some quite impressive; and many are in city apartments and townhouses of wide range of expense. But all of them have modern appliances, conveniences and features only dreamed of by most foreign populations, and they just about all have multiple cars in driveways or garages. We are one of the few "car cultures" in the world. 

In America today the average skilled tradesman makes more income than the average college graduate with advanced degrees. And the average farmer knows more about actually running a business than the average accountant. Accountants are paid by such as they. 

Karl Marx himself showed his hatred of the bourgeois class in his Manifesto, where he demonized them again and again, mentioning them negatively some 195 times. Yet he was no nobleman or aristocrat, or anything worthy of note. He was pretty close to being a bum. He always depended on the largess of others for support; he couldn't even support himself. 

Yet he considered himself to be above the bourgeoisie because, well, just because. He felt he more deserved what they had than they did, because he was Socialist, and they were not. In fact, they were bourgeoisie, of all things. In his eyes, that put them beneath contempt. In his black heart, Marx saw himself as the epitome of nobility; a Prince, or a King. But there was nothing noble about him, by birth or by character. 

The American bourgeoisie are targeted for destruction by the Marxocrat Party because the Party is Marxist. And, they are targeted by Pope Francis because he is a Marxist. The Marxocrats and the Francis Vatican are in cahoots in wrecking economic America by criminally migrating the dregs of world society into America. They are behind the human smuggling, the sex trafficking, the drug smuggling and the gang activity across American borders, I'm sure for profit as well as for personal participation in crime. They're not doing it for nothing. 

If you wonder where all the missing hundreds of thousands of illegal alien children went, think about all the criminal homosexual Bishops in the world who are covering up each other's sexual exploitation crimes and paying off lawsuits with Catholic tithes, Catholic properties and bankruptcies. And now they actually have a Pope who is in league with them against all the rest of Catholicism. 

The USCCB and Catholic Charities are in on it up to their eyeballs, along with a host of American governors, mayors, prosecuting attorneys and judges, running sanctuary cities, safe houses and taxpayer funded hotels, apartments, houses, food, medical care, education, cars, driver's licenses and even voter registrations for criminal aliens. By the millions. The Pope, the WEF, the EU and plenty of corrupt European politicians and judges are doing the same thing to Europe and Britain.

The three-pronged Marxocrat attack aimed at destroying American greatness is to 

1. overspend America into economic oblivion, 
2. destroy the American bourgeiosie through corrupted education making American citizens evil and even insane, and, 
3. watering down the independence of the citizenry by importing millions of totally dependent foreigners, requiring the growing of government and the expansion of government power at the expense of citizen independence and self reliance.

Why do you suppose Pope Francis and so many Catholic Bishops today welcome pro-abortion and pro-homosexual people such as Biden, Pelosi and others, and even non-Catholics like the Clintons to the Communion rail? Why do you suppose there are so many "Catholic" Parishes today that fly the Sodomy flag and the Transsexual flag and even include rainbow colors in liturgical vestments? And why do the Pope and so many Bishops close successful crowded Latin Mass Parishes and keep the most heterodox, least successful and least crowded Parishes open? 

They are Earth-First worshipers.  Think about that. 

They push the Marxist-globalist political frauds of climate change and sustainability. Those frauds hide many evils. 

Earth-First opposes human beings and human population of earth. 

Earth-First believes that HBAACOTE¹¹ and that salvation is only from WBESSWG¹⁷ .

Pope Francis gives a sideways blessing to artificial contraception as well as abortion and all sterile or contraceptive variations of sexual perversions when he contemptuously accuses traditional Catholics of "breeding like rabbits". 

I submit that what the Church needs most is Catholic families who breed like rabbits, what America needs most is American families who breed like rabbits, and what Bourgeois America needs most is bourgeois normative families who breed like rabbits. 

The Church, America and the Bourgeoisie need to make more babies. 

Human babies are sexually transmitted, and they are best sexually transmitted and best raised by a married father and mother into a solid, stable, normal, moral Christian family. 

There is no such thing as a birthing-person and no form of sexual perversion produces any human babies.

Why does that even need to be said?

If there is one thing in this ever-changing world that is constant, it is Christianity. 

Christian Revelation has never changed. Christian morality has never changed. Right and wrong do not change. Another term for Christian morality is common sense. They are synonymous terms.

Bourgeois America will only make America great again if it is a highly moral Bourgeois America, and only Christian morality will do. And by that I mean old-time Christian, original Christian, and pre-Pope Francis Christian. 

An immoral bourgeois class will fall into hedonism and self-destruct. 

Abraham Lincoln was always one of the two most revered Presidents in American history, who had his birthday enshrined in a national holiday, just like George Washington. Nowadays those two birthdays have been combined into one holiday called President's Day. I never understood the reasoning for that. 

Lincoln was revered for ending slavery in America. He communicated with Russia's Czar Alexander II over the issue. They were both keenly aware of the fact that all the rest of Western Civilization had already ended slavery, and their two nations were the last two holdouts. Alexander II went first with his Manifesto of 1861. Lincoln couldn't do it without starting a civil war. The Civil War started anyway, over that very slavery/abolition issue, and finally he was able to issue the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863.  

I would like to say that black America was immediately absorbed into Bourgeois America, and they all became independent and lived happily ever after, but of course that wasn't the historical case. Total independence only came to black America in fits and starts, with many holdbacks. 

Lincoln was assassinated, and his Reconstruction program was mostly dismantled by his Democrat Vice President who assumed the office of the Presidency. And, for awhile, it was all downhill for black Americans. Democrats established the KKK, passed the Black Codes, the Jim Crow Laws, etc., etc., etc. 

But the parts of Lincoln's Reconstruction plan that didn't involve black rights were allowed to survive. Southern States could keep their Stars and Bars State flags, and they could build and enshrine monuments to their generals and their heroes, and they could honor and memorialize their dead. And it was widely recognized that most soldiers and sailors, on both sides, fought not for or against slavery so much as they fought for or against their own and other States. 

When your state is at war, you go to war to defend your state. That's where you live. That's where your children are. That's your property. That's your flag. That's where your heart is. Whenever necessary, you fight for home and hearth. 

Isn't that the condition of the Ukrainian citizen today?

We are told that Putin doesn't even believe that Ukraine exists as a nation, and that it was a part of Russia from its first history, and that he is just returning it to its own original place within Russian sovereignty. 

Does he see Lithuania in the same light?  Estonia?  Latvia?  Poland? 

Obviously, none of these lands, including Ukraine, believe they belong to Russia. When the USSR broke up, they all claimed their sovereignty. Individual sovereignty. 

Putin has about as much right to insist that the lost USSR nations all revert back to their ownership by imperial Russia as 

• Palestinians have to claim Israel,
• American Indians have to claim America,
• Apaches have to claim Comanche land,
• Hopi have to claim Navajo land,
• Crow have to claim Sioux land, etc., etc., etc.

Putin ought to think about abandoning Georgia to its own sovereignty, surrendering Crimea and other Russian held Ukrainian territory, pulling in his horns and working to make Russia great again. 

Russia, all by herself, is a vast land of immeasurable natural resources and a formerly Christian population that, given the chance, could become a gigantic bourgeois class the rival of our own. If he would work on that, instead of the impossible task of restoring ancient borders, he could go down in Russian history as a Lincoln or an Alexander II, revered by his people, and the world, for making the Russian citizenry and the Russian nation so Christian, so moral, and so prosperous. 

Putin can do what Trump is doing. 

He, and Russia, could be just as respected and befriended by the world as Trump and America. 

All he needs to do is make his people moral and bourgeois, and they will do the rest. 

What is behind the brilliance and genius of President Trump?

It's mostly a matter of a return to simple common sense.

Unfortunately, all of this is wishful thinking on the part of Muscovy. Vic, you must never commit the Western mistake (that already burned the West during the "nationbuilding" of Islamic countries) of treating Muscovy like a fellow Western country.

The components required for the emergence of peaceful middle class - a sincere, good religion (not an FSB-in-robes parody of one) and the rule of law (a principle that says that support of a good social order (that itself aims at a just society) is the highest good) - are missing in Muscovy. We are talking about a country that crawled out of their caves only 1500 years ago - and only materially, by being given metallurgy. Mentally, they need 8000+ years to catch up, because even the good religion needs something to work with (if you try to multiply zero, you will get zero).

You cannot expect a ton of ordinary Muscovites - criminal-admiring, "steal-to-get-ahead" Muscovites - to grasp the high Western civilization principles and become good citizens. Ask anyone who've tried the futility of working with the Muscovite society in the 90's - every company that was opened up was embezzled from by the Muscovites, because they are fundamentally uninterested in fair exchange of goods and services, only in personal benefit at any costs. You cannot instill a vision of a good and orderly society into a bunch of atomized cannibals that all genuinely think that all rules are impediments to self-advancement. They literally admire Putin because he broke as many rules as he could in his climb to power - that he embezzled from businessmen that he "protected" in the 90's, that he rewrote the Muscovite Constitution as he saw fit... That he went against the international community by attacking Georgia and Ukraine.

The international politics of Muscovy are the same - and can be summed up as "rules (sovereignty, treaties, etc.) are for dumb weaklings unable to get away with breaking them". Even now, Muscovites openly flaunt their ability to break rules with impunity ("see, those other guys said that Ukraine must be sovereign! But since we're strong, we can take Ukrainian territory - see, not even that American vassal can stop us!").

Then what's the answer? What's the resolution to this mess? Do the Muskovites really want this war? 

If the picture you paint is accurate, they cannot be lived with, or lived near. What then? Conquer Russia? Commit genocide? Are you up for that?

I cannot believe that all Russians are evil, any more than I can believe that al Ukrainians are virtuous. But your points are well taken, as someone knowledgeable and closer to the situation and more experienced in relations with Russians. 

I have a feeling, although I cannot know, that Trump is currently looking tough on Zelensky and friendly with Putin just to get Putin over some sticking point and into serious conversation about a peaceful solution. When all is said and done, Putin is the key; the war will not end or even temporarily stop unless Putin stops it. Once Putin agrees to talk, Zelensky will have to agree to talks with Putin and Trump. If he won't sit down with Putin, he's a fool. 

What do you think will happen if, somehow, Putin is no longer the head of Russia, or if, somehow, Zelensky is no longer the President of Ukraine? 

Your words leave me more worried than ever. If the nature of Russian citizens is as corrupt as all that, the whole people may be as irredeemably lost as the Palestinians, and all other Moslems who actually celebrate every time a Jew is murdered. 

God help us.

The answer is really simple. It's enough to open the history book and see what Reagan thought about it. He knew that Muscovites respect nothing but physical force (they NEVER back down otherwise, all "diplomacy" from them is nothing but a ploy to stall and build up more military force for more conquests, same as Islam). The answer is to push them out militarily, casualties and all - people balk at that, because they want an easier way. But there's no easier way here. It's also very good that you've mentioned the Palestinians, a faction that Muscovites nurtured and trained. There's a number of similarities in there - in huge part because Muscovites translated their own chauvinism into parts of Islam that Palestinians empathize all the time (Jews/Ukrainians are fundamentally "invented"/"illegitimate"/"fraudulent people", the Muscovites/Palestinians are the "real inheritors of the land/history" and so, the "invented people" must be genocided completely so that the theft of the land/history by the "real inheritors" can never be contested). It's a religious eschatology for Palestinian Islamists and a culmination of Muscovite great-power chauvinism, so good luck thinking that these factions will somehow abandon those goals.

What Muscovy has is a type of great-power chauvinism - that is EQUALLY HOSTILE (White Muscovites that fled from the Reds HELPED SPAWN NAZISM) to everything decent as Islam is. And it's pervasive across the entire Muscovite "culture sphere" (the director of Hermitage openly said that every Muscovite cultural exhibition is a special operation, prelude to conquest - taqiiya, of sorts). That chauvinism is not a religion, but it's an enduring ideology that possesses and animates the entire Muscovite society - from Putin to the lowest bum. That's why saying that Putin could be replaced by someone else more reasonable is an exercise in delusion; just like saying that if a given Palestinian terrorist could be replaced with a more pretending-to-be-more-reasonable Palestinian terrorist, the Palestinians would somehow stop wanting to kill all Jews. That Muscovite great-power chauvinism (which it's emphasis on grafting the history of Rus'-Ukraine to originally-Finno-Ugric Muscovy affords Muscovites with a special hatred for Ukrainians) was first developed into a state ideology by Peter the First - hence, his ideological descendant Putin modeling himself on him instead of the "weak" Alexander II (the more cruel and homicidal the ruler is - especially towards his subjects - the more respected he is by the Muscovites themselves. Hence, Ivan the Terrible, Peter the First, Catherine the Second, Stalin (especially notable, because he's a Georgian foreigner of low birth, who would usually be hated solely for being a foreigner), Lenin and, now, Putin being beloved instead of the "weak" Yeltsin, Alexander II and other wannabe-reformers). Alexander II even once sardonically replied to Ukrainian explorer Mykluho-Maklai when the latter asked if Muscovy wanted to declare the notoriously-backwards Papua of New Guinea a protectorate of Muscovy - "I have my own Papua (Muscovites) right here", in a commentary of what it was like to actually rule the Muscovite people if you've wanted to improve their lives.

"Conquer Muscovy" - if you want to stop their eternal march to the Atlantic Ocean, you need to disarm those people of their army, of their imperialist ruling class, their culture and of their resources. In short, they need to be conquered, made stateless and their so-called "culture" needs to go the way of the Aztecs. It needs to disappear because every other way to get them to stop this crap has been tried - and it didn't work. Western capitalism went into being the funds for the Muscovite army, German noble rulers became a line of autocratic tyrants, Slavic literacy became a tool of propaganda and crushing the indigenous cultures, Orthodox Christianity became a tool for the Tsarist government after a "few" purges and Christianity itself was reduced to worse than a joke - to an expression of Muscovite chauvinism, one more "claim to superiority and rule" over the world. So long as that blasted Muscovite culture and chauvinism are permitted to stand and exist, it's impossible for any other ideology or religion to change the Muscovite national character into something less evil.

Muscovite culture and state is a system that deliberately crushes or pushes out everything that is good or decent (it's the system you'd get if you treat Benjamin Franklin's words about vicious nations and the need or masters as an instruction on what to do to build a tyrannical state) - there's a damn good reason why most Muscovite intellectuals (even those that still have their chauvinism) LIVE ABROAD. Not a single decent and hard-working person can bear living in that craphole of a country that spits on decency, intelligence and hard work. This system of selection - that kills and runs out the good and the brave while rewarding the cravenly and the cruel - was in place for more than 800 years! So imagine what it did to the Muscovite people and their chances to develop into an actually decent nation on their own.

"Friendly" - what Trump is doing, from the perspective of someone who knows the Muscovite mentality, is simply a huge, big scream of "I'm weak - I'm going to do nothing!". This is actually a welcome surprise for Muscovy - it's the same as that John Kerry fool that showed up to those Paris accords and said that the weak NVA that showed up to beg to survive was actually the legitimate, victorious party in the Vietnam war. Anyone can see that this looks like it's Muscovy that decides what NATO does and that American president seems to be a weak puppet - that if Muscovy says that American-led post-1945 order needs to go, the American current administration asks them "how high do we need to jump, master?". Because proclaiming the Muscovite wants as something they are entitled to (territories, etc.) is a huge admission of weakness - an admission that Muscovite words de-facto decide what NATO does, instead of Europe and the USA. That if the Muscovy demands the Balts and Poland next, Trump could very well "avoid WW3 and reduce the size of NATO". Trump's little puppet remark of "it's no great loss if Ukraine becomes Russian" is no different from the remark of "it's no great loss if Sudetenland becomes German" or "it's no great loss if Eastern Europe becomes Soviet". Muscovites always repay the Western "peace in our time" crowd with a Cold War. Hell, there was even a conference in Munich - so that even the students with F's in history would get the lesson hammered in. At least that's what it looks like to me - and to the Poles and to the Balts and even to our own president, who, for all his faults, at least understands what Muscovy really is. No one in their right mind would consider Muscovy a legitimate party or reward it with territories that it already captured. Not a single conqueror was stopped by people listening to it's manufactured grievances or treaties that reward conquest.

"Muscovy culture" is entirely new to me. If it predates Communism by so many centuries, it looks like it merely used Communism as a tool of convenience to further its own expansion. 

With that, I agree entirely. 

But I shudder to think of the scope and magnitude of any attempt to 

1. Militarily conquer the vastness of Russia as Napoleon and Hitler tried to do, or, 
2. Annihilate Russia with nuclear weapons without sustaining nuclear retaliation and possible unleashing of global nuclear holocaust. 

Yet, even if the Russians are driven off of Ukrainian territory, it will not be over. 

So what's the answer?

Perhaps Trump has a mostly economic war solution, but I doubt that he is any more familiar with this "Muscovy culture" problem than I am.

In his "On the Russian peasant" (excerpts from this were published as "Russian cruelty"), a devoted Bolshevik by the name of Maxim Gorky wrote of his observations of the native Muscovite cruelty and his disillusionment with any kind of "progress" that the German-fomented revolution supposedly brought - the tortures that were invented by Muscovites peasants as pastime put any of those American serial killers to shame, be they individual or combined. By citing the incidents he saw and the very reflections of Muscovite national mentality in the literature of the Muscovites, Gorky reveals everything - that the Muscovites are a vicious people that are worse than every other nation that he himself interacted with. A people completely devoted to the worship of cruelty-as-power, a people filled with cynicism and evil - and his observations mainly cited the peasants, the very soul of the nation. And not some foreign ruling class that some naive people still blame the native Muscovite cruelty for ("it's Putin's war!" and the like).

Long before Nazism was even a thing, Gorky writes about how a folk teacher from Muscovy wrote to him this - "The famous scientist Darwin proved through science the finality of the merciless struggle for existence. Because he does not protest against shortening the lives of weak and useless people, because even in ancient times old people were left to die of hunger in their caves, or hung from high trees – then I would like to propose exterminating, in some humane way, those who that have become unnecessary for life, because I am against all cruelty. I suggest poisoning them with some delicious poison. This method will settle the struggle for existence… It must be applied against the weak-minded, idiots, against all those ill-equipped by nature: the crippled, the blind, and also against the terminally ill. Such a law, of course, will not please our intellectual youth, but the time has come when we should not pay attention to these "ideal" reactionaries and counter-revolutionaries. Maintenance of waste costs the people dearly, it is necessary to reduce these expenses to zero."

Napoleon and Hitler have committed mistakes in their campaigns, ones that Ukraine does not. Muscovy is a society of cruel, atomized and lazy cowards; their armies, always lacking individual courage and true cohesion, are more hindered by their own logistical and personal incompetence than by the enemy. Both Napoleon and Hitler made the mistake of not digging in for the winter - it was winter and being stranded that defeated them, not Muscovy. Napoleon himself had pressing affairs in Europe - and so did Hitler. And, in WW2, if Muscovy didn't have American and Ukrainian help - and if the Bohemian corporal dug in for the winter as soon as he reached Belhorod -  Hitler's Germany would've eradicated Muscovy. In fact, there's a great irony - that Karl Marx, whose works Lenin supposedly extolled... Hated Muscovy and knew it's actual character and behavior (which is why his Muscovite translated works are abridged at best and censored entirely in some cases). Together with Friedrich Engels, the two covered and dissected all the Muscovite political  and military strategies and blunders - their coverage of the Crimean war of 1853-1856 in the New York Daily Tribune is instructive in particular. Almost reads like the modern Muscovites losing in Ukraine; a "quick victorious war" that begins with the thought-to-be-weak Turks embarrassing Muscovy by sinking the creiser "Rostyslav" - and ends with the British, Italians and French (in short, a modern army) clowning on the Muscovite army so hard that even with the Turkish 400,000+ casualties, the Muscovite casualties were still disproportionately high. As Engels writes, more Muscovites died from dysentery, tuberculosis and hunger than from the bayonets or the bullets of the enemy; and that across all the centuries of Muscovy's existence, it has not won a single battle against Germany, England, Poland or any other European nation unless it had a numerical superiority of 5 times or more. Muscovite strength is thus always an elaborate illusion, one that somehow still persists despite USSR - their mightiest iteration, supposedly - falling apart due to Ukraine and America being forced to send humanitarian help, because the "nuclear-armed socialist paradise" was forced to engage in the national pastime of eating shoelaces. Due to prevalent corruption and incompetence of Muscovy, as well as my people's own experiences with Muscovite warfare and any "victories" it has, I'd strongly advise treating Muscovite nukes and any theories of them working in any capacity that the Muscovites boast about as the illusions and bald-faced lies that those things truly are.

As for taking Muscovy... It can be done easily. Consider the Wagner debacle - the spectacle of Muscovite cowardice from four people during Prigozhin's coup attempt. Putin and his FSB were so afraid of paltry 6 thousand Wagnerites advancing on the capital that the entire Muscovite government practically collapsed overnight. Prigozhin - despite encountering no resistance whatsoever - was afraid of Surovikin possibly defending the regime and so, chickened out of the easiest coup in history. Ramzan Kadyrov - afraid of Prigozhin and Putin both - waited until vassal Lukashenko declared that everything's fine. And Surovikin himself - somehow afraid of the bunker grandpa that already fled Muscovy at the time - was too afraid to give assistance to Prigozhin or even stand aside... The only reason why Muscovy isn't wiped from the face of the Earth... Is the West being afraid of a future without Muscovy (they love that refrain, I think - weren't the American slaves of Communism were once busy trying to resuscitate USSR in Moscow before Ukraine and Belarus said that the evil empire was done for?) - and having delusions of Muscovite competence, themselves brought about by pro-Muscovite historical narratives.

There's no "economic solution", just like how you can't solve crime by tossing gold at criminals. Remember the 90's - the Westerners bribed the cannibal cavemen with Western capitalism and unlimited petrodollars, with their only condition was "live on petrodollars, don't start any wars". Petrodollars... Went into the army and propaganda and destabilizing of Western nations through funding movements of Nazis and Commies. You can't bribe serial killers or violent terrorists - they always take that as an admission of weakness. What is it that that English poet - Rudyard Kipling - wrote? "If you pay him Danegeld, you'll never get rid of the Dane!" Any "economic solution" is Danegeld - the real Muscovite currency is power and cruelty, not dollars or material goods. They start wars specifically to conquer, loot, rape, brutalize and kill, with the territories being a fun bonus.

What I meant by an economic solution was economic war, not an economic settlement just to get a settlement. It is possible for Trump to bring the whole Russian economy down to disastrous depression levels in a very short time and destroy the ruble. If the Russians cannot even feed themselves, let alone fuel their planes and tanks, let alone charge up their drone batteries, their armies would be left with little choice but to start waking deeper and deeper back into their own country.

Thanks, but I fear that even with a purely-economic war (which I do not see Trump's administration even entertaining, much less attempting), it's not going to be possible to contain the Muscovites that way without a clear military defeat for them. They are not alone. Because there's Communist China - it's powerful and influential enough to reduce Muscovites to mere pawns of itself, but it provides them an out from any possible economic encirclement. If everything else fails, the cannibals can always pledge to be China's new troops in return for economic power - and China would be happy in such a bargain... Unless Muscovites prove to be wholly militarily useless, in which case China won't bother.

That is why we have to win the war the old-fashioned way - to not only break the Muscovite capacity for physical warfare (Chinese assistance won't matter if there's no troops to use it), but to show Muscovites as militarily-worthless scum, so that China would discard them as viable means of attacking Europe completely. Without that lifeline, Muscovites would only be able to get one outcome - China taking their resources in the Far East and leaving them destitute.

China's economy is quite wobbly; China is not that economically strong either. 

But you are right, it doesn't look like Trump is even thinking about economic war, but just economic prodding, leveraging and inducing. 

All things considered, I would hope that if WWIII has to come, that it might be an economic war that might be won before most of the world even knew there was a world war.

China's economy is not that wobbly, by the virtue of them holding most of the world's manufacturing hostage. And having a goal-oriented (not "get elected for 4 years and then mess the bed on the way out so that the successor can't outshine the predecessor") leadership, one that is more pragmatic than most of the Western leadership right now. They have a demographic crisis, yes, but it's not something that any foreign faction will be able to exploit or something that we should depend on - it's been intensifying for two decades, but not at a great-enough speed to be appreciable to us.

Anything else than a full-scale tightening of the noose (enough so that even the warfare materials can't be shipped and recycled) won't have an effect - not just because of China, but because to the 100+ millions of ordinary Muscovites that still don't have toilets and wash their clothes in a river, the unavailability of 21st-century Western goods and services means nothing. This is also why, in some parts, most of the Western sanction packets didn't have the desired effect - suppressing what ordinary Muscovites consider to be mostly-unattainable luxuries (that the West considers vital basic goods and services. Bah! In a country that has more square territory without roads and railroads than Europe has land in total) that they were doing without anyway.
