In our recently published Prepper page we left out the most important items any decent prepper should include in his EDC and/or in his bugout bag, as several of you have reminded me in no uncertain terms. Mea culpa. And these necessaries are, of course, a Bible, a 1962 Roman Catholic Daily Missal and, perhaps most importantly, a 50-round Holy Rosary, which has been a part of my EDC for I don't know how many years now. I never leave home without it.
What once were and should be again American Military Issue RosariesBack in the Strategic Center page we laid out, in detail, the actual Mission Statement of this website, which is, essentially, an attack site. The reason it is an attack site is that I don't like playing defense. An ancient rule of war says that he who defends may only survive, but he who attacks may win.
Permit me to quote the opening lines of the Strategic Center page:
The Catholic American Thinker is, essentially, an attack site. It's existence is in response to the on-going and unrelenting attack of secular culture on the Judeo-Christian foundational ethos that underlies, not only America, but all of Western Culture. The overall emphasis is Catholic because the author is Catholic; the hope is that believing men of Jewish, Catholic and Protestant faith will be moved to join in, contribute to the fight, and perhaps open other WebSites in a similar vein.
The secularist and secularizing cultural targets in the sights of the Catholic American Thinker are not mere straw men; they are quite real. The Call to Holiness is a call to change culture, not surrender to it. Any theology that has to modify itself to suit cultural fashion is irrelevant, and any theology that does not directly engage current culture is dead. Catholic, Protestant and Jewish ministers must, at some point, engage culture; and every bit of culture needs to be engaged, not just some parts of it. Secular culture does not hesitate to challenge religion, and that engagement takes place on a two-way street.
It must be remembered that atheism, no matter how highly visible it makes itself, no matter how loudly it shouts, in truth represents a tiny minority, not only here, but everywhere else on Earth. No tiny minority should ever in good justice be dictating its rules to the majority in any truly representative Democracy.
What does it mean to be Civilized?
Once upon a time, in Western Civilization, the science of Philosophy represented the quest for ultimate truth, and the once complimentary fields of theological science and material science were united in that honest quest, which began and was founded on Revealed Truth. The search for ultimate truth always began with a basis of Genesis. The "Enlightenment" and "Modernism" of the Renaissance era began to question and dismiss Revealed Truth, beginning with Genesis, and ultimately put Theological Science and Material Science at odds with each other, and even at war with each other. Giving birth to the new quasi-religion of Scientism, in which material "scientists" believe in and worship matter, and matter alone, eventually valuing matter over humanity, with the total abandonment of belief in God.
Scientism is Love of Environment, which is today the new name for this anti-God and anti-humanity world which is ruled by Satan.
We're just talking about reality here.
How many times does once civilized man need to be called back to reality, and back to normalcy, and back to simple common civility?
America, like Western Civilization itself, is based on the Judeo-Christian Ethos that was born of the Revealed Truth of God. Judaism and Christianity, in all their various "denominations", are unique from other religions in that, rather than man seeking and finding (or inventing) god, God revealed Himself to man, to correct man, and show man "The Way" to live this life and prepare for the next. Repeatedly.
Each time the world pulled man away from God, and God, or His servants, revealed the Truth to man again. It's time man listened.
It's high time we got back to the morality of the Ten Commandments.
Where Catholics, Jews, Protestants and Orthodox may differ in theology, or the First Great Commandment, they all share the same morality, or the Second Great Commandment. That's what makes them able to be good neighbors, and even friends, and even brothers-in-arms. We can all deal with each other on the same moral ground, which is to say, civilized ground.
To be civilized is to not be barbaric. To be normal rather than unnatural. To know who and what you are, to know why you are here, and to know what you are supposed to do.
What does it mean to be Barbaric?
To be barbaric is to not be civilized. To oppose or not even recognize the Judeo-Christian ethos and deny the Ten Commandments which form the foundational basis for secular law throughout all of Western Civilization. To damn the civilizing influence of the Judeo-Christian religions as evil, and to damn the spread of that influence as "Colonization", as if colonization were evil, and as if no other nations or tribes ever "colonized" any other nations or tribes before the advent of Western Civilization.
We submit that all forms of Socialism oppose God's Commandments against stealing and coveting, and all forms of Marxism, every one of which is Socialist and anti-Capitalism, oppose even belief in God let alone His Commandments, and that they all oppose both the American constitution's limitations on government power, and the constitution's rights granted to the people. That includes Communism, Fascism, Nazism and Anarchy. All forms of Marxism are Revolutionary, in that they violently oppose the status quo, whatever it is. They oppose every existing human organization, from Churches to corporations to institutions of any kind, including especially governments. They seek power for its own sake, and therefore oppose all existing power that is not in their hands.
To be Marxist is to be revolutionary, which is to oppose whatever is.
And that certainly includes God.
We submit that all forms of Islam, violently and even murderously, opposes Judaism, Christianity, every religion other than Islam, all nations and governments that are not in submission to Islam, all forms of legal jurisprudence other than Sharia law and all people on earth who are not in submission to Islam. Islam, as a religion, is a sham. Islam is an ideology that uses the mask of religion to justify itself to its followers. There is but one God, and He is certainly not Allah. God would not and could not deny His own Resurrection, nor would or could He insist on the annihilation and genocide of His first chosen people Israel, nor would or could He order the conquest and destruction of His own Church.
We further submit that the Marxocrat Party supports and is supported by Socialism, Marxism and Islam, and opposes Judaism, Christianity, Western Civilization, and they oppose America as Constituted.
And that if they don't, they've got a damned funny way of showing it.
And that the Republicrat Party is little better, acting most frequently as a "bipartisan cooperator" in politically compromising with anti-American Marxocratism to eventually obliterate civilization in America first, and the world second.
Whether by ignorance of malice, we see these deadly compromises pushed by the likes of Unicrats like Mitch Schumer (I mean McConnell) and Mike Pelosi (I mean Johnson).
