Reality is impervious to opinion. Truth is impervious to perception.
Truth is Reality; it is all that actually is. The name of God is I Am, and He Is the center of all Truth, the Alpha and the Omega of His Creation. Another name of I Am is Jesus Christ, the second manifestation or person of the Triune God, clearly identified in John 1 as the divine Creator of everything else that is. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
So says the Bible; read it for yourself and believe it, or not, at your peril.
The whole argument between reality and the lies of the world begins and ends with the objectivity or subjectivity of the Bible. It is either true, or it is not.
The Pilgrims, the America Founders, the Authors of the Declaration, the Authors and Ratifiers of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights all believed it, to a man. All were raised in Christian families and educated in Christian households; the most read book among them was the Bible. Even the Deists, even the agnostics, even any atheists among them were well versed frequent quoters of the Bible, and it was the main source of their common sense of wisdom and morality, if not theology.
They based the Declaration on it, and they based the Constitution and Bill of Rights on it.
Here's what we said about it in the recent Government by Subjective Opinion Poll, and Science by Court Settlement:
The difference between eternally fixed objective truth and infinitely
variable subjective truth is why the Catholic Church is a fixed
hierarchical monarchy of Apostolic succession, and why America is a
fixed Constitutional Republic with Representative Government, and why
neither one is a Democracy.
Facts, if they are true facts, are objective and not variable.
Opinions, no matter how popular, are subjective and variable.
Church government is ordered by the objective reality of the Revealed Truth of Jesus Christ.
- The Revealed Truth governs the Church Hierarchy; the Church Hierarchy does not govern the Revealed Truth.
American government is ordered by the objective reality of the written words of the American Constitution.
- The Constitution governs the American Government; the American Government does not govern the Constitution.
You cannot arrive at any objective reality with any certainty by vote. Democracy, in and of itself, is subjective and not objective. Even a super-majority opinion is still just an opinion.
"There are many thoughts in the heart of a man: but the will of the Lord shall stand firm." Proverbs 19:21. Man proposes, but God disposes.
The closest mere created man can come to making some man-made thing that he can point to and say "let that be objectively true" might be the ratified written words that form the Constitution and Bill of Rights of the United States of America. Those written words themselves are held by American Constitutionalists to be, legally speaking, objectively true.
And in American jurisprudence, they most certainly are true. The Constitution calls itself the supreme law of the land. All other laws are inferior laws that must conform themselves to the constitution; all levels of American federal, state and local government must be subject to the written words of the constitution.
As pointed out on many webpages in this website, the Constitution itself could be President Trump 47's best and most advantageous weapon of use in Making America Great Again. Wherever he is in his religious journey, if he has never smoked and never drank he is two steps ahead of most of Americans.
Cyrus the Great, who freed Israel from Babalonian captivity, and the Samaritan, the foreigner who proved to be the good neighbor, present examples from history of people outside of the faith who, whether knowingly or not, were instrumental in saving the faith (Cyrus) and in teaching lessons of the faith (the Samaritan).
Whatever else about Trump that we may wonder about, he loves America and the idea and unique ideology that is America and he wants to restore it. And the idea, the ideology and the very essence of America are all wrapped up in the fixed recorded words of the Constitution.
And he will again be solemnly sworn in his oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. And he has proven to be a man of his word. If he says he will do it, he will do it.
Pray that he reads the words as we have, and that he will take them up as his main weapon of use in making America great again, and get all that is unconstitutional out of the American government if not out of America.
And that history will thus mark him as, by far, the greatest American President.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.
Pray for a strategic alliance between President Trump and excommunicated Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano against the common conspiratorial criminality in the American and Catholic political parties.
