Political Parties: Redirecting allegiance away from the nation.

Political Parties demand first obedience to the Party, not to the Constitution, slowly poisoning the nation.

When I published the No Party America page, most of the resulting comments (which were not published) were clearly:

  1. Opposed to the notion;
  2. Obscene and insulting;
  3. Crude and vulgar;
  4. Submitted by Marxocrats. 

That page, and many others in this site, have pretty well proved to me that Marxocrats, in general, are crude and vulgar people whose mastery and use of filthy language is their hallmark. 

Nevertheless, I feel compelled to double-down on the idea of abolishing Political Parties in America, because now, they, and not the Constitution, and not the rule of law, are running the nation.  They are driving the national buss right off of a cliff. 

George Washington's Farewell Address, which was actually a letter from him to the American People, warned against the formation of Political Parties in exceptionally strong terms.  The dangers he warned about have grown up and are clear and evident in the whole nation's loss of recognition of the gigantic, vitally important ideas behind the Declaration and the Constitution. 

All we see is Party Politics.  We are distracted from total reality. 

In Washington's day, Parties were already beginning to form up, in loose confederations of "factions" with differing agendas.  Two major factions already at odds with each other were the Planters, who needed their slaves, and the Abolitionists, who favored morality over slavery.  These fledgling political factions would coalesce into the Democrat and Republican Parties. 

Washington foresaw political Party factionalism, and Party distractions from the true national interest. 

First, he warned of regional representation by political Party, which was exactly what came to be, with Democrats representing the South, and Republicans representing the North.  Washington saw this as a danger, because our citizen political interests were supposed to be divided only between local, state and union. 

Region added a whole new political dimension, outside the design of the nation, not addressed in the Constitution, which could only tear at the Constitutional fabric of the nation.  But that's not all he warned about. 

He went on to warn about ever increasing factionalism, over anything at all.  Political Parties become "laws" unto themselves.  Based on anything at all. 

Look around. 

The Democrat Party, born as the Party of Slavery, has today morphed into the Marxocrat Party of Marxist Redistributionism.  It seeks to create, grow and manipulate a population of totally dependent citizens, who need the government (i.e., the Marxocrat Party) to supply all their daily needs.  Slavery of another form. 

The Republican Party, born as the Party of Abolition, has today morphed into the Republicrat Party of Professional Political Ambition and Corruption.  It is the Party of The Party.  The Party of the Professional Politician, who knows how to schmooze the people, look good for the cameras, cross the aisle and get things done. 

Neither Party gives a damn about the American Constitution. 

The Marxocrat Party is absolutely dominated by Marxist ideology and is thereby virulently opposed to the very idea of America, established in the Declaration and the Constitution, although they have the polished political speech that camouflages that fact. 

The Republicrat Party has no interest in defending Constitutional America from the destruction of the Marxocrat Party.  If they did, there would have been huge numbers of Articles of Impeachment flying out of their asses over the last umpteen decades, against political offices from the President all the way down to local judges. 

I hereby reiterate my call for a No Party America.  Our two great political Parties are dooming and crushing the greatest civil, non-ecclesial organizational idea ever born.  They have outlived their usefulness, if indeed they were ever useful. 

May God preserve us from our own Political Parties.

May God bless the American Idea. 

And may God open the eyes of the American People.

This is a very interesting article because it raises very interesting questions. First, if political parties were already forming during Washington's term, can we conclude that it was an inevitable event due to human nature? Second, if there was no slavery in the colonies, and therefore no major moral conflict for the national government to resolve, what would have been the underlying philosophy of any political parties that might have formed and what would be the objectives of such parties today? Third, if the nascent national government did not have to deal with the slavery problem would the national government ever have grown in power over the states like it has today, or would that power have remained concentrated in the states? If power remained concentrated in the states, would each state be considered a regional faction in its own right, and would the states themselves naturally be prone to unite politically into larger regional factions? Would atheistic philosophies such as Marxism and Humanism have accepted as easily here under a different historical tapestry?

You've identified the very questions the Founders and the Framers wrestled with in establishing how to organize the new government.  They knew from the outset that pure Democracy could not work for long, for the "natural" inclinations you list.  Men would form up "blocks" on favored issues, and those blocks would develop into Political Parties, collecting money, advertising, gathering power and becoming non-Constitutional elective bodies unto themselves. 

But what are the declared purposes for our government? 

  1. Equality of all men before the law.
  2. Life.
  3. Liberty.
  4. Pursuit of happiness. 

It was to protect those Divine rights of man that the Constitution was written.  To protect the citizens from their own government.  To limit the scope, authority and legal action of government to the tasks of governing only, which are clearly listed in Article 1 Section 8.  There is nothing else they are supposed to do.  Nothing to do with our diet.  Nothing to do with the weather.  Nothing to do with anything other than items listed in Article 1 Section 8. 

Look at some of the American Quotations to see the items held dear to various Founders and Framers, dealing with the education and morality of the people, who are supposed to be driving the government.  (And note that the proper way to educate and moralize the people is to leave them the hell alone.  Government has no legal business educating or moralizing the people.)

Look at some of the anti-American Quotations to see how various Marxists, including Marx himself, encouraged Democracy as the path to Socialism, which is the required path to Dictatorship under the disguise of Utopia.  All of that is in total agreement with the current Marxocrat Party Agenda. 

It's why Wilson amended the Constitution to turn the Senate into another popularly elected body, instead of a state government appointed body.  It's why Madam Hillary is so hot to eliminate the Electoral College so that Presidential elections become purely popular elections.  He who owns the media and education owns the largest growing voter base. 

Look to other countries for their electoral history and you will see why Parties are nothing but a problem.  Principle is lost.  Founding Principles and Constitutional Principles play second fiddle to the Party sponsored issue of the day. 

Italy is a good example, with upmpty-ump Political Parties all competing for office.  Nobody, ever, wins a majority of the country's votes.  The winner just wins a few more votes than the thirty or forty or a hundred other candidates, and just takes office.  Italy has had multiple elections and multiple sitting governments in the same year over this divided Political Party nonsense.  They never get a government representative of the whole people, or of any particular Principle. 

There's a Party for the strippers, a Party for the homosexuals, a Party for this, and a Party for that.  They've had a sitting member of their Congress who regularly exposed her breasts on the chamber floor for some reason or other.  No problem, in Italy. 

But we are not Italy.  And we are not a Democracy.  We are a Constitutional Republic. 

At the moment. 

The only popularly elected office at the federal level is Member of the House of Representatives.  (And now, the Senate.)  And it's the same (I think) at each state; the only popularly elected office at the state level is the State House of Representatives and the Senators. 

The County Sheriff is the only popularly elected officer of the law, and as such, in my mind, he is the logical leader, or should be, of the local Militia. 

Politicians should be running for federal office on:

  1. How they intend to prioritize and divide resources and attention to items in Article 1 Section 8, to the exclusion of everything and anything else.
  2. How they intend to restore, protect and defend citizen rights as laid out in the Bill of Rights, all Amendments and elsewhere in the Constitution. 
  3. How they intend to deal with those other politicians and judges who are acting in violation of the Constitution and the Rights of man as established in the Declaration of Independence, and Constitutional rights.  

There ain't no Party that will do those things.  Our current Parties are violating all those things.  What is needed is old fashioned men of Principle.
