On the Semiliteracy of Pro-Abortion and Anti-Abortion Public Speakers
Either they haven't even read the Constitution or they are sorely lacking in reading comprehension skills

America and all of Western Civilization is being driven into semiliteracy by Cultural Marxism, which has a world-wide strangle-hold on all formal education, pre-K through university.
Rush Limbaugh, R.I.P., was the last fully literate voice heard on talk radio, and he, like me, and like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and like perhaps most of us, never got a college degree. You can see the literacy slippage in just about every other talk show host and TV commentator today. None of them - not one - correctly uses the word "an", contextually. They only use the word "a", in every context.
As in "a apple".
A small thing; true enough. But adult competency is made up of thousands of such little things done competently.
Proper reading and understanding (reading comprehension) of the constitution, especially for those who's voices are widely broadcast, is not a small thing; indeed, it is a very big thing.
And yet today, after the Dobbs decision striking down Roe v Wade, we hear the biggest voices on TV and Radio, on both sides of the argument, talking about the possibilities of federal legislation to either
- establish a right to abortion, or,
- outlaw all abortion,
without a word about how both of those possibilities are unconstitutional. So they either haven't read the constitution at all, or they are sadly lacking in reading comprehension.
The whole reason that Roe v Wade was struck down was that it was unconstitutionally established in the first place, because abortion, or anything to do with abortion, is not to be found in Article One Section Eight of the Constitution. Read it for yourself.
[From Article One of the American Constitution:]
Section. 8. The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;
To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;
To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;
To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;
To establish Post Offices and post Roads;
To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;
To constitute Tribunals inferior to the supreme Court;
To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations;
To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;
To provide and maintain a Navy;
To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;
To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;
To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings; — And
To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.
[Note 1: These are the limited and enumerated legislative powers of the Congress. Nothing outside of this list may be addressed in federal law short of passing a Constitutional Amendment to do it.]
[Note 2: If it cannot be Constitutionally legislated into law, it cannot Constitutionally exist in federal law. The Constitution nowhere grants the Congress the power to "delegate" any of it's exclusive legislative powers to any lesser body or bureaucracy that may exist or be brought into existence. Thus, no "regulation" may be issued to do that which the Congress is specifically prohibited from doing.]
[Note 3: No executive order or action of any kind by the President may establish any rule, regulation or law that the Congress is specifically prohibited from legislating.]
[Note 4: If it does not (and Constitutionally cannot) exist in legislated and signed federal law, the Supreme Court may not Constitutionally hear and adjudicate anything to do with it. The Supreme Court may only adjudicate cases involving existing federal law.]
[Note 5: To quote Article 1 Section 1: "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives." The key word is "All". No exceptions. If it wasn't constitutionally legislated and signed into law, it is no law.]
It isn't in there. Neither is sodomy, or any other perversion. Neither is marriage itself. Neither is health care, or health care insurance.
We are not being ruled by our constitution any more. We are being ruled by a bunch of semiliterate, incompetent boobs. (Or evil conniving Marxists.)
If abortion is not to be found in there, then nothing can be legislated for it or against it at the federal level. It would take a constitutional amendment to get it in there.
If the semilterate Republicrats wanted a federal ban on abortion, or if the semilterate Marxocrats wanted a federal right to abortion, they would have to write up a constitutional amendment, send it out to the states, and hope for ratification by a super-majority of 38 states to get it into the constitution.
It is shocking that so many in high positions are not smart enough to know that.
Especially the talk radio hosts since the demise of Rush.
If we the people can read it and fully understand it, why can't they? Perhaps because it was written for us, and not for them, for they have removed themselves from "us" and made (or perceived) themselves into the enlightened elites.
At question is whether our constitution still rules, or, we are all to be ruled from Washington by incompetent semiliterates pushing the unconstitutional political agendas of unconstitutionally existing political parties.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.

Indeed. Let's hope that the conservatives don't slack and actually make sure that every state prohibits abortion by itself (California and New York, from what I hear, already pledge themselves to the disgusting cause of infanticide) - if not that, at least make sure that nothing can ram a Constitutional Amendment through Congress like Wilson done with the income tax and the Federal Reserve or the Uni-Party has done with Obamacare. It will be a nightmare to get rid of, too, since absolutely NONE of the "debate participants" didn't mention the very-much-Constitutional right to life before getting lost in those goddamn useless semantics (an innocent child is worthy of life and protection at all stages of human development). Why is it that we Christians are the only ones screaming for the proverbial Gadarene swine to turn back from the way that leads to the cliff? All religions worth a damn prohibit abortion. Can you imagine - some Islamic terrorists hating the West in particular because of abortions? We should be ashamed of our "culture" if heretical and even pagan religions still preserve something that we all are supposed to be knowing. Orthodox Judaism (despite itself being technically a heresy from the real Revelation), Orthodox Zoroastrianism, Vajrayana/Theravada (in short, real) Buddhism, Hinduism all condemn abortion and they all give the same reason - injury to human life of both the baby and the mother, unwarranted killing of an innocent.
