On the Inner Spiritual Soldier vs the Physical Battle Soldier
The work of the national soldier is to kill people, break things and vanquish national enemies. How does that comport with waging Spiritual Warfare?

What is a spiritual soldier?
I was born 81 years ago in Detroit Michigan. When I was 17 I joined the army for the first of what turned out to be two consecutive three-year hitches. My initial admittedly juvenile motivation was mostly adventure and macho visions of being a soldier, and getting away from an unhappy broken home and broken family situation.
Later in life, I hope not too late, I kick-started my old nearly dead Catholicism for the love of my fiancé, and then over a 56 year period of married years it pretty much took control of my spiritual life. And now, as an old man, I am left to wrestle with the question of spiritual warfare versus physical warfare, and whether they are they or even can be the same thing.
Granting that I was never a very good soldier, certainly no hero, but I was indeed a soldier, trained, dedicated, committed, ready. To this day all that training and all that mission and all those memories are still with me, and in my heart, if not my body, I am a soldier. And I can now commiserate with those who's soldier heart is split between becoming a spiritual warrior - a Priest - or a physical soldier in the armed forces.
Yersterday's first reading of the Latin Mass for the twenty first Sunday after Pentecost are appropriate to the topic:
Collect
℣. The Lord be with you.
℟. And with thy spirit.
Let us pray.
Guard Your household, we beseech You, O Lord, with unceasing care, that under Your protection it may be free from all harm and serve You by good deeds.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end.

Lesson from the letter of St. Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians
Eph 6:10-17
Brethren: Be strengthened in the Lord and in the might of His power. Put on the armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the Principalities and the Powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness on high. Therefore, take up the armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and stand in all things perfect. Stand, therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breast-plate of justice, and having your feet shod with the readiness of the Gospel of peace, in all things taking up the shield of faith, with which you may be able to quench all the fiery darts of the most wicked one. And take unto you the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, that is, the word of God.

I would hazard a guess that our Lord prefers the Priest over the warrior, but that does not condemn the warrior. Many are those who's calling is either to the priesthood or to the military. My initiation to military life was not so much the result of a calling, but more of an escape. Nevertheless, I remain a soldier at heart. I am what I am.
Once I was qualified to become a soldier, but I could never have been qualified to become a Priest.
Both are needed in America now more than ever. Actual civil war may be in the very near future. That it will be a spiritual war is without question; but what is also without question is that it will be necessary for the forces of good to kill people and break things.
Spiritual and physical civil war is already underway, but most Americans are still not cognizant of that fact. It is civil war induced by Modernism, enlarged by Cultural Marxism, and fanned into an inferno by the Global Islamo-Commie-Homo Movement.
The deceptive attack is a sly psychological destruction of identity masked as a "virtuous" inclusion of alien identities into our own unique identity.
That's what DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) and the Woke movement, and the "bring us all together" and "we are all one people" political speeches are all about. We cannot be "all together" with our spiritual and physical enemies without losing our original identity.
The enemy attack is on our identity.
Our Catholic identity; our Protestant identity; our Orthodox identity; our Jewish identity; our American identity; our sexual identity; our human identity; our political identity.
From the Jihadist Presidential Advisors to the Islamo-Commie-Homo Kamala Harris, to the antisemitic, anti-American Congressional Bitch Squad, to the anti-American and anti-Christian Marxocrat Party, the phony "inclusiveness" movement is actually excluding everyone other than themselves.
The Feminist movement is sexist. The BLM movement is racist. The Antifa movement, which claims to be anti-Fascist, is indeed Fascist. The Islamo-Commie-Homo Bergoglio Vatican and the Cupich-lead USCCB are anti-Catholic.
How can true Christians join (blend) with anti-Christians and still be Christian?
How can Jews join (blend) with antisemites and still identify as Jews?
How can anyone join (blend) with BLM and not themselves become racists?
Can anyone join (blend) with feminists and not become sexists?
Can moral people join (blend) with hedonists and still be moral?
How can anyone who is not Moslem join (blend) with Islam and not eventually become either converts to Islam, subjugated by Islam and paying the Jizya tax, or dead?
How can anyone who lives in a nation join (blend) with globalists and not doom his own nation?
Does anyone out there think that Lord Jesus, the Ultimate Judge, welcomes obstinate unrepentant sinners and dedicated anti-Christians into heaven? That St. Peter lets illegal aliens through the gates?
What, exactly, does it mean when we pray "... Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven ..."?
Question:
- Where does all this DEI end?
Answer:
- In divisiveness, and in a brutal war-like division.
Our very identity is at stake.
In this new DEI world order, Christians, Jews, patriots, white people, men, heterosexuals and all those who will not assimilate into the new Globalist all-inclusive commune are to be excluded from the commune, and shunned if not imprisoned and/or killed. Not tolerated by those who currently claim that we all should tolerate everyone of them, but not ourselves.
They are intolerant of us, and yet we should be joining them.
That is the nature of the civil war that is already upon us.
Pray for peace, but lock and load.
His will be done.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.
Pray for a strategic alliance between President Trump and excommunicated Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano against the common conspiratorial criminality in the American and Catholic political parties.
