The Controlled One-Party "Democracy" that Trump and MAGA Threatens
We are a Constitutional Republic Federally, and an Increasingly Grassroots-Democracy at State and Local Levels

It's Constitutional American Bottom-Up Grass-Roots-Democracy vs Marxocrat Party Top-Down One-Party One-Candidate Democracy.
"Our Democracy", in Marxist minds, is One Party, One Party Chairman Democracy, where ballots contain a choice between voting for the Party Candidate, and voting against opposition to the Party Candidate. Heads I win, tails you lose.
The Marxocrats always hated our Constitution because it constrains the government from infringing citizen liberty, while Marxism insists on an all powerful unrestrained government and an obedient citizenry. Therefore the relentless Marxocrat movement of America into "Our" Democracy. Why?

Democracy is indispensable to socialism. --Vladimir Lenin.
What they mean when they say that Trump and MAGA are existential threats to "Our Democracy" is that they are an existential threat to the Marxocrat Party's relentless political progression transforming America into a typically Soviet-style One-Party-Democracy operating under a new One-Party-Ruled Nation of America.
With our Constitution bypassed, sidelined, ignored, hopefully forgotten, and eventually relagated to the dustbin of history.
What is meant by Grassroots Democracy?
America is not a democracy at all, but a constitutional republic. In the original pre-17th amendment form, the only elected officials at the federal level were members of the House of Representatives, elected in the districts in which they lived. And the democratically elected House was counterbalanced by the Senate, composed of two Senators from each state, not elected at all, but appointed subject to recall by their duly elected State Governments to Congress. They were to represent State governments, and not state populations, to the Congress as if they were Ambassadors from sovereign states to the Congress, but with voting powers. They were to temper democracy, not feed it.
Presidents are elected by the electoral college, and Justices of the Supreme Court are appointed by Presidents and approved by the Senate.
We have long argued that the 17th amendment should be repealed.
America is a grassroots-democracy because democracy is a bottom-up democracy here, not top-down as in Marxism, be it Communist, Nazi or Fascist forms of Socialism. It's all one party rule in all of Marxism, which is to say, dictatorship by other names, ruling a fooled if not cowed, dependent and obedient citizenry.
In America the farther down you go from national, to state and to local jurisdictions, the more democratic it becomes. States themselves may be democracies, depending on their state constitutions. States are free to make themselves democracies or republics. Going down the government level staircase, the lower you go the more democratic it gets. It's usually a democratic free-for-all at the school-board level, and usually at the mayoral level too. Anyone and everyone can run for dog-catcher, and whoever gets the most votes wins.
But democracy does not and cannot work at the national level, and the political parties know it. The closest they can come to changing that situation in favor of democracy is the political party system, because,
the real goal of all political parties is to achieve one-party rule.
That's really all political parties are about: winning, pure and simple.
Forget the platforms, the agendas, the declared political goals. What they mean to do is win against opposing parties, and keep winning until they achieve actual one-party-rule.
We have had a mostly two-party system going in America since the Civil War era. All other American parties were minor players with no real power. Some nations have ten, twenty, even thirty or more parties, and the ones with the biggest vote count, even when it's not anywhere near a national majority, is the one on top, trying hard to become the one party of a one-party-ruled nation.
Where are the one-party-ruled nations?
Where has it been actually achieved? In all Marxist/Socialist nations.
Note well that Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Bolshevik Russia of old were all one-party-ruled nations. Today, Putin's Russia, Red China, Communist North Korea, Marxist-Leninist Cuba, Fascist Venezuela and even Islamist Iran are all one-party-ruled nations.
And brutally so. Oppose the party, and go to prison, or worse.
One party rule equals dictatorship, in every case without exception.
The Marxocrat Party is now Marxist through and through, and that's why it fears and hates Trump and his MAGA movement so much. That's why they are desperately trying to take him out, and his movement with him. They feel they are right on the brink of achieving one-party-rule and he is threatening to upset everything they have done, and they simply cannot and will not let that happen.
American Political Parties are Unconstitutional
If they are no part of the constitutional government, what are they doing governing the House of Representatives, the Senate, the electoral process, the conventions, the picking of our candidates, the picking of our justices and judges, the design of our ballots, etc., etc., etc.?
Article One of the Constitution constitutes (creates) the Congress and supplies its operating instructions. Article Two constitutes the Presidency and gives it its operating instructions. Article Three constitutes the Supreme Court and gives it its operating instructions.
There is no article in the constitution addressing political parties.
Political parties are extra-constitutional entities, and as such they have no legal authority to govern anything in America, especially at the federal level, and even more especially in governing either house of Congress, the Presidency or the Judiciary.
Political Parties should be declared to be unconstitutionally acting in the federal government and taken out of all authority and activity at the federal level.
Any President could do it, as the sworn protector of the Constitution.
Opponents to that action wouldn't have a constitutional leg to stand on.
The only thing Truth has going for Him in this world is us.
The restoration of Truth = Reality in the hearts and minds of men is now totally dependent upon you and me; if we don't do it, it won't get done.
Pray for a strategic alliance between President Trump and excommunicated Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano against the common conspiratorial criminality in the American and Catholic political parties.
